A non-toxic pheromone trap that reduces damage to plums caused by the plum caterpillar (Cydia funebrana). The application has the effect of reducing the pest population. The plum caterpillar often overwinters as a larva in the sheltered crevices of the trunk of a plum tree. Females lay single eggs on the surface of the developing gills. The larvae hatch after 2-3 weeks and burrow into the plum. When the caterpillar leaves the plum, the damaged fruit falls to the ground. Neudomo's plum wrapper trap attracts male plum wrapper butterflies inside with the help of a pheromone, and they stick to the non-toxic special glue in the trap. Fertilization of the females is then not successful and there are fewer worms in the plums.
