The silky-matte protective wax has effective UV protection, thanks to which wooden surfaces remain bright for a long time. After drying, the product is harmless to humans, animals and plants. Surfaces treated with Uviwax have a pleasant feel and are easy to care for.
Uviwax composition: A mixture of polymer dispersion and waxes with added UV protection agents, titanium oxide and preservative.
Work instructions: Preparation: The wood surface must be clean, dry (relative humidity of the wood below 18% and temperature above 0° C). Old paint and varnish surfaces are removed. The yellowed surfaces are sanded to a light color. Surface treatment: Mix Uviwax well before use, remember to mix during use as well. Apply 2 times on a new, clean wooden surface. Pay attention to the fast drying time when applying, so treat larger surfaces in smaller parts. The product cannot be diluted or mixed with other surface treatment agents. Apply thinly and evenly with a stiff, good-quality brush or roller along the grain of the wood.
Drying: Allow to dry for about 2-5 hours (+22°C) taking care of ventilation. The renewal treatment is applied on top of the old cleaned surface.
Processing: The product's lowest processing temperature is +10° C. In order for the UV protection offered by the product to protect the surface best, remember to apply the application layers evenly.
Material consumption: About 1 liter/16 m2 on smooth surfaces, more on rough surfaces.
Cleaning of tools: Tools are cleaned with soap and water immediately after use.
Storage: The product can be stored for 2 years in a dry place with the container well closed.
Content: Methylisothiazolinone (MIT), 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one (BIT). May cause an allergic skin reaction.
