The Rustrictor series is something completely new from Plano. All boxes of the Rustrictor series have been treated with the VCI (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors) anti-rust method developed by Plano, which prevents the rusting of all metal-containing products. The entire box has been treated with the method, so it doesn't matter if you use the product without space divider plates. The method is so effective that it even protects lures outside the box if they are stored in a tight space, such as in boat storage compartments.
VCI forms an invisible and odorless protective film on metal surfaces, through which water cannot penetrate. Plano promises up to five times the service life of the method in question compared to other competing products. All boxes in the Rustrictor product family can be easily recognized by the bright orange locking latches.
