Please note that the starter must be completely identical (apart from color) to the starter being replaced, both in terms of shape and model. Nowadays, there are dozens of Chinese Honda copies in circulation, there are also different starters, and a corresponding number. If the starter is replaced with a starter other than an identical one, it will cause the pawls or pulley/spring of the starter device to fall apart, because each starter device also has its own counterpart on the flywheel and the wrong type will not press the pawls back into place correctly. That is, if it doesn't respond outside and the pawls are even slightly different, don't install it, the device in question has a different starter as standard. The warranty does not replace broken sheaves, springs or starter pawls after installation.
