Classic design. Convenient size
The design of the Merger LRF thermal binoculars is familiar from traditional daytime binoculars. They don't take up much space, and fit well in the hand, and in addition to being usable, they also look good. The device's six function buttons are placed on top of the device, from which they are easy to use and the most used digital functions are within your reach with one press.
Nice viewing experience
The optics of the Merger LRF thermal binoculars take into account the nature of human vision. The human brain is conditioned to receive visual information from two channels at the same time. That's why watching with two eyes tires them less than squinting with one eye. In this way, Merger also has monocular, technically similar devices, it is easier to distinguish small and dim objects, especially in low-contrast conditions. The distance between the eyepieces of the Merger LRF is adjustable between 56 and 71 mm, to best suit each user.
Highly accurate laser rangefinder
When you know the right distance, you can effectively evaluate other possible special factors as well. The internal laser rangefinder can define and display the distance of objects very precisely (±1 m accuracy) from a distance of up to 1 kilometer. Accurate distance measurement in either One-time measurement or Scanning mode helps to get an idea of the situation quickly.
Highly sensitive 640 x 480 pixel thermal image sensor, NETD value below 25 mK
Whether it's rain, blizzard, fog or early morning after a cold night, the Merger's highly sensitive 640x480 pixel thermal imaging sensor (NETD <25 mK) detects even the smallest temperature differences even in conditions with low thermal contrast. The thermal image sensor's high resolution of 640 x 480 pixels ensures that all objects in the field of view are shown in as much detail as possible. The high resolution of the camera makes even the smallest objects, such as branches, leaves and animal body parts, appear exceptionally sharp and clear against the background.
Large and fast-aperture, germanium-coated F50/1.0 lens
The quality of the optics is of great importance to the performance of thermal binoculars, so that the image quality remains good even at the lowest radiation levels.
This extreme efficiency is achieved with the help of the Merger LRF's fast lens (F50/1.0) and super sensitive thermal sensor. Merger LRF offers its users the best quality, i.e. a precise, high-contrast and informative image every time - even in rain and fog, when the thermal contrast of the monitored environment is at its lowest.
