The extremely accurate RLC-810A camera equipped with artificial intelligence takes camera surveillance to a new level. The RLC-810A can automatically interpret the video it shoots in real time. Depending on the settings you define for the camera, the camera can distinguish motion detection videos according to whether they contain vehicles or people. With this technology, even the alarms sent by the camera take on a whole new meaning. By setting the motion detection to react only to cars and people, the hassle of unnecessary alarms is eliminated. You get notifications when a suspicious person or car moves near your house, and alarms caused by swaying branches are a thing of the past.
The RLC-810A is also capable of timed shooting, i.e. the so-called time-lapse function. The camera is defined to take pictures at the desired time interval and the series of pictures is made into a video. The progress of a construction project, the spring awakening of plants, the monitoring of traffic flows, the dawn of the morning, there are endless uses. The timed shooting function is enabled when saving to the camera's memory. The RLN8-410 recorder does not support this feature.
The resolution of the video image is 8MP at 4K Ultra HD level (3840x2160 pixels). With 3D DNR image noise reduction technology and infrared LEDs, the camera can see up to 30 meters in the dark. There is plenty of space for recordings as the camera supports up to 256GB microSD memory cards. The RLC-810A supports H.265 video compression and thus a 256GB memory card can hold no less than 97 hours of video recorded from motion detection. The integrated microphone also records sound. By playing videos with the Reolink App, you can choose whether you want to watch all videos or only recordings related to people or vehicles. For continuous recording, the RLC-810A can be connected to an NVR recorder such as the Reolink RLN8-410.
Aluminum, sturdy construction and IP66 rated protection make the camera durable for year-round outdoor use. Data and power are supplied conveniently via an Ethernet network cable (PoE i.e. Power Over Ethernet) and there is no need to run a separate power cord. The camera also has a connector for a power source (sold separately, not included in the package). The RLC-810A consumes a maximum of 12W.
The video image, intelligent motion detection and settings can be managed in real time with the Reolink App (Android and iOS) and Reolink Client (Windows and macOS). The settings can e.g. adjust the sensitivity of motion detection, define the email address to which video images are automatically sent when the camera detects movement, modify even wider alarm functions, network settings, sound recording and much more.
