The Sako S20 is the first true hybrid rifle. Designed for forward-thinking shooters, the modular design adapts to changing lifestyles, making the Sako S20 a truly forward-looking rifle.
One of the main innovative features of the Sako S20 rifle is the collapsible stock. Thanks to its unique modularity, the rifle can be configured according to the shooter's preferences with different rear and front supports. In connection with the release, Sako presents both a tactical precision butt and an ergonomic hunting butt, the latter of which is an improved version of the thumb hole butt similar to a traditional pistol butt. Changing stocks is quick and easy, and the rifle can be converted from a tactical rifle to a hunting rifle with a perfect grip, or vice versa, in practically a matter of minutes.
Inside the stock of the S20 is a high-quality aluminum frame that absorbs all the forces of the recoil. The durable structure of the frame is designed to be as rigid as possible, which increases accuracy and durability. In addition, the S20 rifle uses shock-resistant HIR (high impact resistant) material, which guarantees professional performance and a very high level of comfort and adaptability.
Overall, adjustable ergonomics are an important part of the S20 model. Adjustable triggers (available in both single- and dual-stage) can be moved forward or backward to better fit hands of different sizes. The quickly adjustable cheekpiece and spacer help in finding the best possible shooting position. The cold-forged barrel and aluminum full-length V-shaped firing support system improve the S20's repeatable accuracy. The rifle's lock frame is designed to be rigid, with an integrated Picatinny rail machined directly into the steel lock frame. The cylinder lock of the S20 is made of high-quality stainless steel that guarantees better weather resistance. Safety and performance are increased by the S20 model's shock absorber and the large surface area of the sealing hole. Together with the three locking holes, this allows for smooth, safe and accurate use of the rifle.
