The Saramonic Blink 500 RX UC is an incredibly compact, lightweight and studio-grade sound quality dual wireless receiver for all smart devices with a USB-C connection, from Android smartphones and tablets to the latest Apple Mac and Windows computers, Chromebooks and even 2018 iPad tablets.

Its lightness and inconspicuousness allows it to be used on hand-held gimbals and it can receive from two Blink 500 TX wireless transmitters (sold separately) simultaneously.

The Blink 500 RX UC makes the often complicated task of using two wireless microphones with a receiver as easy as possible for the user. Thanks to the direct USB-C port connection, it does not need a separate power supply or charging. The receiver works without adjustments, but does everything possible in the background to make the end result the best possible. By operating in the interference-free 2.4GHz frequency range, it automatically frequency jumps to avoid noise and connection failures.

Connecting transmitters is easy, and all operations take place in the background without interfering with shooting and recording.

Wireless audio with handheld gimbal

The really soft camera stabilization produced by hand-held gimbals, which makes the image seem almost floating, is excellent, but they suffer on the audio side. Attaching external microphones and wireless receivers is tricky without disturbing the balance of the gimbal.
