Grumpy Stove is the darker half of Savota's stoves. If Happy Stove seems like too happy a travel companion, and doesn't match your idea of Finnish melancholy, then Grumpy Stove is the answer to your stovetop needs. Like Happy, Grumpy consists of 7 parts: three side walls made of laser-cut roaster steel, a base, a "face board" and a two-part cooking grate. When they are snapped into place, the kettle is ready for use.

A good weight/durability ratio was sought in the design of the kettle, and despite its lightness, the kettle can withstand the weight of a decent coffee pot or food packet. The rice cooker comes with a black protective bag made of 1000d Codura, in which the rice cooker fits into a really small space. Savota rice cookers are easy to transport, for example in the thigh pocket of trousers or in the outer pocket of a backpack, where the cooker can be quickly assembled into a field kitchen.
