The Scandinavian Tackle Kössi reel is designed and optimized for zander casting fishing with jigs and other lures. The Kössi reel is ideal as a companion to Scandinavian Tackle and Kalastaja channel's Kössi boom. The reel is sturdy and durable, its multi-disc front brake provides certainty with fish even in tough situations.
The body of the reel is graphite, which makes it light and durable. The reel's brake is enclosed in a waterproof case, which is especially important when fishing in salt water. The reel gearbox is CNC precision machined and balanced. The ALU spool of the reel is also made with the CNC method and the middle part of the spool is roughened for fiber lines. The thick handle of the reel winds the line evenly onto the spool.
