Shelly Plug S Gen3 is a compact smart plug with many built-in functions that make it easy to make floor lamps and other devices smart. The device has a 12A relay and a built-in power meter, so you can monitor your consumption and automatically turn off unnecessary standby consumption. With a built-in schedule and sunrise/sunset control, you can also automate the control of all your appliances.

Shelly Plug S Gen3 is easily installed and controlled through the Shelly Smart Control app or your favorite Smart Home system. Shelly devices operate 100% locally and only need a local network to work. Shelly can be used on its own in the Shelly Smart Control app or with over 200 partner systems including Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Home Assistant, Samsung SmartThings, Athom Homey and many others.

The Shelly Plug S is designed for use with existing outlets in a building, allowing smart control of non-smart devices such as floor lamps. It can also be used to remove standby power consumption from TVs, PlayStation and the like, or to increase safety by automatically switching off the iron after a few minutes. If you only want to use the device to monitor the power consumption of household appliances or similar, you can set the Shelly Plug
S with a PIN code so that the device cannot be accidentally switched off via the app. Shelly Plug S has a powerful LED ring on the front that can visualize the current power consumption level by switching between green, yellow and red colors. The light can also be turned off or used as a night light when you or your kids get up at night.

The Shelly Plug S can be connected to the internet or local network via 2.4GHz WiFi. In addition, the device has
built-in Bluetooth, like the other Pro, Plus and Gen3 devices, so it can also be used as a gateway for Shelly Bluetooth devices. Shelly Plug S works locally without a connection to Shelly Cloud, but activation is recommended for easy data storage and increased functionality. The device can also communicate via MQTT, HTTP and WebSocket. The device is equipped with third generation hardware, including a powerful ESP-Shelly-C38F CPU and 8MB flash memory. This makes the Shelly Plug S Gen3 future-proof and enables scripting functions and virtual devices for advanced and user-customizable functionality.
