Oak is the queen of smoking woods. Oak smoke is stronger than beech. The taste of oak smoke is good for sea salmon (if you like strong smoke) and especially for all cold-smoked meats. Also best for making smoked salt and cold smoking cheese. The fine chew of the smoking stick is intended for the ProQ cold smoker. Can also be mixed with "normal" beech pulp, e.g. 50%/50%.
