The effectiveness of snail serum was once discovered by chance, when workers handling snails grown for food in South America noticed that the skin on their hands was exceptionally soft and in good condition. The serum secreted by snails began to be studied and found to contain unique compounds and nutrients that help the snail keep its surface moist and repair damage quickly. Snails were therefore found to be more valuable alive!

On human skin, snail serum has similar effects. Its ingredients support the skin's own regeneration process, keep it elastic and help repair damage such as scars, unevenness and pigment changes.

The snail serum used in Natura Media's Baba de Caracol products has a certificate that guarantees the ethical and gentle treatment of snails. The snails are therefore not harmed when collecting the serum. All our products containing snail serum are manufactured in Spain and finished and packed in Finland.
