Valeriana, i.e. valerian root, is best known as a plant that supports sleep and sleep quality. It grows wild in Europe and Asia and has been used since at least the times of ancient Greece and Rome. Valerian is used for its roots, which have a strong characteristic smell. The plant's sleep-supporting properties have been found to be mainly due to the valerenic acid it contains.
Ingredients (per 3 ml): Carrier (glycerol), water, lyophilized valerian extract (Valeriana officinalis L, root) (540 mg), gamma-cyclodextrins (180 mg), alpha-cyclodextrins (90 mg).
Recommended daily dose: Adults: 1 ml 3 times a day with water.
