Cutting teeth on both sides of the blade
The cutting blade of STIHL hedge trimmers has sharp teeth on both sides of the cutting device, so cutting goes equally well both vertically and horizontally. The cutting power does not suffer even if the position changes. The swiveling handle enables the hedge trimmer to be used optimally by both left- and right-handed people.
Long service interval air filter
Gives a long maintenance interval for filter cleaning and effectively protects the engine.
Primer pump
Models equipped with a primer pump start more easily and with fewer strokes. By pumping the Primer pump, you ensure a sufficient amount of fuel for the carburetor to start the machine.
Hanging loop on the back handle
The rear handle has an integrated suspension loop. The machine does not take up unnecessary space on the warehouse shelf, but can be conveniently hung on the wall, for example.
STIHL ElastoStart
This special elastic damping element guarantees jerk-free starting and thus makes starting even easier and smoother.
STIHL Vibration damping system
Rubber dampers and a steel spring effectively dampen the vibration caused by the engine and steel. Thanks to the vibration dampers, the handles are almost vibration-free. Very comfortable and good ergonomics. HS 81 in the picture.
