Fleece filter
In our new MSA 300 version, the fleece filter provides constant and high performance - even in harsh conditions. The ultra-fine filter material keeps even fine dust and dirt away from the electronics and electric motor. To clean, remove the air filter and spray it with STIHL Varioclean, rinse it after a while with warm water and let it dry. The filter is then ready for use again.

Chain speed up to 30 m/s
The MSA 300's maximum chain speed of 30 m/s is optimised for three predefined operating modes: felling, pruning and cutting of small and medium-sized trees and tree construction work. To achieve high cutting performance, the MSA 300 is equipped as standard with STIHL Light 04 flange and .325 "RS PRO blade chain.

Compatible with Smart Connector 2A
The Smart Connector 2A is mounted in a predefined position on the machine's deck. When properly installed, the Smart Connector 2 A transmits valuable machine information to your smartphone, tablet or STIHL connected box within range.

Control screen
The MSA 300 features an electronic control screen with LED display. There are three operating programs to choose from, making it easy and safe to work with. A generously sized display so that you as the operator always have a good overview of all important chainsaw information, e.g. operating mode or chain brake status.

Control handle with potentiometer function
For convenient operation. The handle's soft components make it comfortable in the hand and both easy and safe to operate. In addition, the soft coating ensures a firm grip, especially when wet.

Oil sensor (O)
The oil sensor shows the oil level in the chain with a clear LED light. If the LED does not light up, there is enough oil in the system. When the red light appears, it is time to add oil.
