Biodegradable and industrially compostable fabric that reduces the growth of weeds in planting areas and
prevents mixing of soil materials in construction sites, corridors, tiling and paving in the home yard.
The fabric improves growing conditions, keeping the soil moist, soft and warm.
Clean the growing medium carefully from all old vegetation, stones and other possible sharp objects that might break the fabric. Before applying the fabric, water and fertilize the growing medium if necessary. Store the fabric in its original packaging, protected from sunlight. Close the opened package carefully. Recommended storage temperature -5 °C to +30 °C.
Biokangas meets the requirements of the European industrial composting standard EN 13432. The usage time of the bio fabric is about 3-5 years, depending on the growing conditions and the amount of sunlight. The fabric is disposed of by putting it in the bio waste collection. Bio-fabric must not be put in the plastic waste. Material UV-protected PLA (polylactide), strength 155 g/m2.
