The triqueta (or Triquetra) is a symbol that has been used in many cultures for millennia. It means "trinity knot" and symbolizes the connection of three things.

Players collect racing animals. new animals are revealed and placed in rows for four rounds. The round ends when each player has taken an animal row and thus left the round.

The goal is to get as many points as possible at the end of the game. Try to collect exactly 3 of each of the 6 different animal species, as 3 of the same animal sign form a triqueta, which yields a lot of points. However, be careful not to collect more than 3 similar animal symbols, because then your score will decrease.

Triqueta is a half-hour game for 2-5 players, where the players build rows of tiles on offer and judge when it is worth taking what is offered, and when to take a risk and add more tiles to the rows. By collecting 3 tiles of a certain animal type, you get huge points, but if you get greedy (or your teammates manage to build only bad choices for your turn), the plus points may turn negative!
