When pedaling, the motor transmits the precise yet soft feel characteristic of Shimano. It has enough power for challenging terrains, such as steep uphills and crossing rhizomes. Tunturi e290's sensitive RST Aerial suspension fork holds its own on challenging routes. When riding on rougher terrain, the frame of the bike can seem stiff and therefore sportier. Driving is fast with the assistance of the electric motor. Shimano's hydraulic disc brakes bring certainty to cross-country runs and work efficiently in any weather. Equipped with 2.2-inch wide Schwalbe Smart Sam tires, the Tunturi e290 SE is quite a go-to game even for demanding off-road riding. It is at its best when it is driven with an active grip.
