Ilona Kuultomaali is suitable for the acoustic painting of new and old untreated interior wood surfaces, as well as previously treated with acoustic paints that did not form a film.
The product is suitable for log and panel surfaces, walls and ceilings, interior doors, window frames and furniture. The paint is not suitable for treating floors or waxed surfaces.
The acoustic paint is odorless, easy to brush on, it smooths out beautifully and dries quickly. It leaves the grain / natural patterns of the wood beautifully exposed and gives the wood a durable and protective surface. Acoustic painting is an excellent alternative to waxing due to its good washing resistance and easy cleaning and further processing.
Coverage: Sawn or porous surface approx. 6-10m2/l, planed or smooth surface approx. 12-15m2/l, depending on the roughness and porosity of the substrate.
Drying time: Touch dry after approx. ½ hour, can be painted over after approx. 2 hours.
Thinner: Water
Shades: Colorless or can be tinted to the shades of the most common audio color charts. There may be differences in the shades due to the wood's own shade, the gloss level of the paint, previous treatments and tinting pastes, tinting machines and tinting.
