Petroleum oil paint is a plastic-free and breathable oil paint for untreated exterior wood surfaces previously painted with various oil or alkyd paints. Thanks to the good coverage, one generous coat of paint gives an even surface.
The surface painted with petroleum oil paint fades beautifully. Thanks to the oxidizing binder, the paint film breathes as required by the wood. Moisture can evaporate through the paint and the paint will not peel off and the wood underneath will not rot.
Made from boiled linseed oil and kerosene.
Gloss level semi-matt
Sufficiency: Rough sawn board approx. 5m2/ l. Finely sawn or old paint surface approx. 7m2/ l.
Drying time : Dry to the touch after 1–3 days, depending on the conditions. Can be painted over after 3 days at the earliest.
Thinner: Uula Oil Paint Thinner
