Väinö Kalajärvi is an excellent tool for winter fishermen. It combines a traditional ice boat and a backpack. The backpack is made of filmy 600D polyester. Inside the backpack is a plastic fish dish with a lid that you can sit on. It is convenient to drop the caught fish into the fish container during fishing through the opening on top of it. The backpack has a reinforced waterproof base. The shoulder straps of the backpack are padded and 7cm wide. There are two smaller pockets on the side of the backpack, where you can conveniently put a thermos bottle. Outside the pocket there are places for e.g. rods. On the other side, under the protective flap, there is a zippered pocket for e.g. morsels and ice cream. A larger pocket in the front for storing snacks, for example.
