Digital infrared thermometer with clear LCD display. The device is equipped with a laser sighting device, which makes it easy to aim the device at the target. The instrument can be used for continuous measurement, always indicating the current measurement result. The measurement result can also be locked on the display by pressing the trigger.
Suitable for general quick and easy temperature measurement in the home, industry and construction sites.
Instructions for use
Installation - Insert the batteries into the battery compartment located under the handle of the instrument. Replace the batteries by opening the case and inserting the new batteries as shown in the diagram of the unit. We recommend using alkaline batteries of the same brand.
Start - Press the trigger of the instrument and wait for the instrument to indicate the measurement result. The instrument will emit a beep.
C/F button - Toggles the unit indicated by the instrument between C and F. Also used to change values of other settings.
Laser symbol - Turns off and on the visual laser beam. Does not affect measurement. Also used to change the values of other settings.
Mode - Switches the mode of the instrument in the following order when pressed: MAX - MIN - EMS - CAL
MAX mode - Maximum measured temperature in the measurement period
Min mode - Minimum measured temperature in the measurement period
EMS - The measured value of the device radiation, you can change this value by pressing the C/F button or the laser beam button while the mode value is selected. The radiation value for most organics is 0.95. This is the default value for the instrument. Some objects emit thermal radiation at a different value. You can change the instrument's measurement value to match the radiant value of the specimen to improve measurement accuracy.
CAL - automatic calibration as well as changing the instrument's measurement value manually
Measurement - Point the instrument at the specimen to be measured and press the trigger. The instrument will display the measured temperature. The accuracy of the device depends on the distance and size of the object to be measured. If the measuring range is larger than a piece, the measurement result of the instrument may be distorted. Move closer to the target and measure again. The best measurement result is obtained when the measured object is 2 x larger than the lens.
Small objects should be measured at close range. Make sure that there are no disturbing materials such as glass or plastic in between.
Do not use the instrument in dirty or dusty conditions and do not expose the instrument to humidity or high temperatures. If you move the appliance between high temperature differences, wait 30 min to allow the temperature of the appliance to equilibrate before use. Never point the laser beam towards eyes or living objects.
Calibration - If the temperature of the measured object and the temperature indicated by the instrument do not match, you can calibrate the instrument between +-5 degrees. If the temperature of the object is 27.2C and the instrument indicates 25C, set the instrument to CAL mode and set the calibration value to 2.2C
Maintenance - You can blow the instrument clean with max 0.3MPa pressure or by lightly brushing or cleaning it with a cloth. Do not use solvents.
Storage - Store in a sealed box. Do not store in direct sunlight. Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for long periods of time. Store at -20 to 60C degrees Celsius and less than 90% relative humidity.
