Batteries are a significant investment, you can protect them with a WVG (WhisperPower Voltage Guard) device against deep discharge. Lead acid/AGM/GEL batteries cannot be completely discharged - completely empty without harm, some batteries are even destroyed once and for all after they have been deeply discharged once. When the battery no longer charges, it must be replaced with a new one. The WVG is installed between the battery and devices consuming 12V or 24V. After installation, the undervoltage protection is adjusted to the minimum voltage value according to the battery type, after adjustment your batteries are automatically protected. Undervoltage limit adjustable 9-12V / 18-24V. Automatic overvoltage limit 15.5V / 31V. The WVG can be controlled with a separate switch, so it can be used as a main switch.
