Removable water tank - 100% fresh water
Zense's removable water tank allows you to add fresh, clean water directly from the tap. The ergonomically designed water reservoir has a capacity of 1.25 litres and is clearly labelled with dosing recommendations, making it easy to achieve the perfect coffee-to-water ratio.

Pump technology
Our pump technology drains the water from the machine after each use, ensuring your coffee is always brewed with fresh, acid-rich water.

For coffee makers without a water pump, up to 1.5 dl of water can remain in the machine's piping after each use. This naturally has an impact on the taste of the next brew, because you start the brew with water that has been standing for a while, not fresh water.

The Zense coffee maker features a highly precise heating system that reaches the optimal coffee brewing temperature in just seconds and maintains the right temperature throughout the process. Approval by the European Coffee Brewing Centre shows that this coffee machine meets the very precise quality criteria for temperature and time, among others. Unlike many other coffee makers on the market, the Zense maintains the correct temperature of 92-96ºC throughout the process, from the first drop to the last.

Automatic drip lock
The automatic drip lock makes operation easier and prevents coffee from splashing on the hot plate.

Right coffee to water ratio
Following the dosing recommendations in the water tank makes it easy to brew the perfect coffee.

Heat plate with automatic power cut-off
Zense's heat plate keeps your coffee warm for 40 minutes after brewing. After this time, the hotplate automatically shuts off in accordance with the legal 40-minute operating time.

Tip! We recommend brewing your coffee several times instead of storing it for a long time - this way you will always get the best tasting coffee!

Cleaning reminder for easy maintenance
When the coffee maker needs to be cleaned, the power button will flash to remind you. This makes maintenance even easier and you don't have to worry about remembering to clean it.

Tips for better coffee:
-    A rinsed filter paper improves the taste experience. The filter paper will release paper flavor and lint as the coffee is extracted through it. This creates flavour defects in the finished coffee. Always rinse the filter paper before making coffee. Use white filter paper as it releases less harmful flavour than brown filter paper.
-    Always use fresh coffee. By selecting the beans, and grinding them yourself, you ensure that the coffee aroma and flavour is released in just the right way, and most importantly, at just the right time! Up to half of the coffee beans' aromas are lost within fifteen minutes of the beans coming into contact with oxygen. By grinding the beans yourself, just before brewing, you ensure that you can enjoy the aromas of coffee at their fullest.
-    If you want a really hot coffee, rinse the glass pot with hot water before brewing. This is especially recommended if you are brewing 0.5 litres of coffee or less.
-    If the coffee maker has not been used for a while, we recommend running the coffee maker under clean water before use.
-    Coffee residues will accumulate on parts that are in contact with the coffee. For best coffee taste, you should regularly clean the filter holder, the jug and the jug lid.
-     Do not fill the water tank with the coffee jug, as coffee residues in the jug will affect the taste and quality of the brewed coffee.
