The SLM-12R is a controller that uses radio frequency and is especially intended for controlling dimmer receivers. The SLM-12R provides the most precise adjustment and the best user experience when controlling the WIRELESS M-series dimmer receiver, but the LC-series dimmer receivers can also be controlled with the controller.
Pressing or turning the control wheel turns on the light. Turning the control wheel adjusts the brightness of the light, and double-pressing turns the light off. It couldn't be easier. There are also other alternative ways to adjust the brightness of the light, such as holding down the control wheel.
The SLM-12R is attached to a flat surface using the included screws or mounting stickers. Several controllers can be linked to control one receiver (up to 32 pcs/receiver), so the so-called Corridor and stair connections are handled in the blink of an eye.
It cannot be overemphasized that the same dimmer receiver can be controlled from several controllers. Multi-point dimming is one of the many easily implemented features of the JOHDOTON solution, which is not possible with traditional methods.
All WIRELESS controllers use unique fixed device addresses. Even such extensive solutions are built without problems and work without disturbances.
The range of the SLM-12R without obstacles dampening the connection is approx. 30 meters. The radio signal used in the control does not need line of sight between the controller and the receivers, but the connection works, for example, through a wall.
The battery is included in the package. The controller has no continuous power consumption, so the battery life is long. The SLM-12R is equipped with a low battery detection function.
